Time Out and Tonsils

Today was a busy day. Lucy had her first time out—Lucy PLEASE don't scream! And Brad had his Tonsils out. I'm pleased to say that they both survived.

The Adventures with Alyce in Wisconsin

We had our first winter storm, and that complicated Alyce's first trip (or shall we say adventure) to Wisconsin. We drove several miles trying to get her. We started with a trip to Milwaukee, then on to Green Bay, and ironically she ended up flying into Appleton—the closest Airport to us. Now, this wasn't without its advantages. Brad finally got to take me and Lucy to our first Cabella's, where Lucy had her picture taken with Santa (I think she like the bells better than Santa). I also learned that Green Bay has a pretty nice Target—I like Target. :)


One of the adventures today was lunch at P.B. Loco. We must have been loco (crazy) because we had the PBLT. Yes, that is bacon, lettuce and tomato (sundried tomato PEANUTBUTTER) with cream cheese. We also tried the CINNY NILLA made with cinnamon & raisin PB, vanilla cream cheese, apple and caramel. Both were very good.

Another of our "adventures" would be the Blog. After backing up my computer and updating my system software, it was time to start the website and blog. It is official I am a blogger, and Alyce and I were both totally clueless. So thanks to everyone who helped out.

Alyce requested another trip to PB Loco before she left, so this time we made Brad come along. It was yummy. I think Brad was even surprised. I ordered him some soup since he was so skeptical, and I think he expected there to be peanut butter in it. Maybe next time he will get a sandwich.


Then off to the airport (this time in Green Bay) We sure had fun with Aunt Alyce. Thanks for coming, we love you.
